Built around what you own, not around a standard size
A wardrobe is bought once and lived with for twenty years, and almost every complaint about one comes down to two decisions taken in the first ten minutes: how the doors open, and what is behind them.
Ours are made to the room rather than to a catalogue size, which means the awkward corner and the low ceiling are dealt with at the drawing stage instead of being worked around afterwards.
What actually matters, before the design does.
A hinged door needs clear floor in front of it and shows you the whole interior at once. A sliding door needs none, which matters in a small bedroom, but you can only ever see half the wardrobe and the track needs cleaning. In a room where the bed is close, sliding usually wins.
A tall, wide, flat door is the panel most likely to cup or twist. This is one of the places where engineered board faced in veneer genuinely performs better than solid timber, and we will say so rather than sell you the heavier option.
Full-length hanging, shirt hanging at half height, drawers for what should not be folded on a shelf, and a shelf above for luggage. The usual mistake is one long hanging rail and a great deal of wasted air beneath it.
A wardrobe against an external wall in a humid city needs a ventilated back and a small gap, or clothes smell of the wall. It costs nothing to allow for at the drawing stage and cannot be added later.
Measure the wall, the ceiling height and the swing of the room door, and tell us what has to go inside. The layout is worth more thought than the finish.
Every piece is built after you order it — your size, your wood, your finish.
