The pieces that tie a room together
Decorative woodwork is usually the last thing ordered and the first thing that gives a room a finished look — a mirror frame, a panelled feature wall, a console, a piece of trim that makes two unrelated items look deliberate.
Because these are made to order, the finish can be matched to furniture already in the room rather than approximated.
What actually matters, before the design does.
Polish shades vary between batches and age differently in light. Where a new piece must sit beside an old one, we match against the actual furniture rather than a sample card, and we will tell you honestly when an exact match is not achievable.
Any mirror of size is fixed to the structure, not merely leaned or hung on a nail. Weight, the fixing and the wall behind it are settled before the frame is made.
A panelled wall is only as flat as what it is fixed to, and only as dry. On an external wall in a humid city it needs a batten gap behind it, or the panel will move and the joints will open.
Send a photograph of the room and of the piece you are matching to. Most of these begin with an existing colour rather than a blank page.
Every piece is built after you order it — your size, your wood, your finish.
Send a photograph and rough dimensions. We will come back with options and a price.
